Breakfast so good

Breakfast was fine, and included.

There were renovations which affected our heating. The room was cold when we arrived and the boiler had been turned off in the basement by the workers. We complained and the boiler was turned on, but the next day both the heating and the water had been turned off. It only worked properly on the last night/morning.

The location is good as near Victoria. The breakfast was okay. We were a bit late but they still made us some toast which was very nice so had toast and cereal.

It is a bit dated and it felt a little dirty. The floor wasn't flat was worried about falling through. It is noisy when anyone seems to flush the toilet at night.

How close it was

The hotel is technically a nonsmoking facility, but the room smelled very bad. We left the windows opened all day, and still stinked.

Great location, friendly staff and affordable (for London!). I've stayed here many times over the years, it's a little worn, but that's ok, it's clean and the cheery simple breakfast is always welcome.

TV didn't work.

Value for money hotel in a good location. I walked to South Bank quite easily every day.

WiFi was poor and tv signal was really weak.

Very good value for money in good location. A bit dated but adequate. Breakfast a bit limited but again adequate. Would use again.

It served the purpose for 1 night in london. Nothing particularly negative to add.

The hotel was in a great location and was excellent value for money.

Bed mattress needs replacing

Not a lot to like other than the close proximity to Victoria Station.

Mildew smell from funky bathroom, dingy walls and carpet, white towels visibly stained, no safe in the room, some of the electrical sockets had no power, mattress was horribly past its prime, just not a nice room for a supposed 2 star hotel. Staff were essentially unhelpful when asked for simple things like a replacement towel.

The location was excellent (around the back of Victoria) and surprisingly quiet. The bed was comfortable with clean bedding and clean, fluffy towels (not big enough to quite go around us). It was nice to have a room with a balcony view, the bathroom was well stocked with toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, and a hand soap. The hairdryer was effective. Breakfast was included, two eggs and beans with toast. This was very budget but cooked nicely and the person looking after the breakfast room was very friendly and efficient.

Entering the room, the furniture and decor was all a bit scruffy, scuffed, old. There was a huge crack on the ceiling with peeling paint above the bathroom. The bathroom is very small and although clean, there was a damp smell. The shower was too small for my 6-ft partner to close the door. The reading light above the bed had two sides to it but only one worked (it needs a replacement bulb). The net curtain was grey and frayed, the main curtains were stuck in their rail and couldn't close; we safety pinned them together. The carpets in the hallway are very old and worn and dirty. The breakfast room could do with brightening up and maybe have some soya and oat milk for the non-dairy guests? There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room but a machine in the main entrance which we didn't try.

It all just needs a bit of tlc. Bit dated and needs a lick of paint. The shower also didn't get warm.

Location- very close to the station and bus stops. 24 hour check in

Very basic. No kettle. Needs a good upgrade, the room was very outdated Unfortunately the other guests were shouting up the stairs and woke us. Can hear other guests in the toilet and when flushing - the water was running right next to the bed

The best part about this hotel is the location- it definitely needs a bit of TLC but it’s clean and the staff were lovely - it’s definitely a budget hotel but that’s all you need in London .

The shower is small - hot room .

Very cheap and location is nice. The room is very basic and old but clean - that is why I am not complaining since you pay for it.

No one is cleaning the room and replacing towels.
